Face-to-Face consultation appointments are now available to book – see opening hours below and appointment available will be restricted so that I can ensure safety procedures are in place for each client.
I will continue to offer virtual consultations via Zoom or by phone for those who are shielding and unable to travel.
Ayurvedic therapeutic treatments will also become available in due course based on Government guidelines. My health and safety protocols will be available in due course.

Client Health & Safety
The following health and safety protocol will be in place:
As your practitioner, I will be wearing a protective visor, for the duration of your appointment so that I can communicate with you as normal (a mask may also be used and/or as an alternative). I will also wear a disposable apron and gloves where necessary. I will change into clinical attire after travelling to/from clinic and ensure that my hands are suitably washed and sanitised
Appointments will have a minimum gap of 30 minutes between each client, to abide by the social distancing guidelines and time for disinfecting and sanitise the room between appointments
Please ensure that you are feeling fit and well the morning of your appointment and inform me of any changes, please check your temperature before you leave for your appointment.
A further temperature check using a contact less thermometer will be done on arrival. Your appointment will be deferred should your temperature be raised
As per my standard protocol, clients will be requested to remove their shoes outside the room on arrival
Hand sanitiser will be available for use on arrival and departure of your appointment
You are also welcome to wash your hands in the room on arrival and dry with paper towels (provided and can be disposed into a lined pedal bin)
The pulse diagnosis will be optional for the foreseeable future and safety measures will be put into place for protection (gloves and sanitiser). I can assure you that your consultation will not feel incomplete with out it.
What you need to do before you arrive for your session:
Please bring your own protective gear. This includes a mask or visor and gloves. I will not provide protective masks for clients.
Please also carry your own pen and notebook for any notes you wish to take in session
Please only bring the essential items necessary for your appointment and extra bags and coats can remain outside of the room
I recommend you also carry your hand sanitiser (I will have this available on arrival also)
Please bring your own water or drink should you need this in the session
Please ensure you have returned your pre consultation form along with the additional Covid-19 consent form prior to your session
If you are feeling unwell on the morning of your appointment please inform me immediately. As a first option your session will be carried out as an online consultation
Please take note of my contact number in case of emergency or issues for arrival. These details will be on your confirmation email
You can assume that the appointment is confirmed, it is not guaranteed that you will receive a reconfirmation 24 hours before your session.
Clinic and surrounding areas:
You may arrive through the front door and come straight up the stairs to the landing where I will meet you for your appointment, You can remove your footwear here and sanitise your hands here
The waiting area will not be in use until further notice as this is a communal area. Your appointment will run on time so please arrive at your specified appointment time and not before. Your session will also be concluded promptly
There are toilet facilities available but I recommend you avoid this facility as I cannot be responsible for the health and safely and hygiene of these facilities. Clients are free to use at their own risk or only in case of emergency
Clinic areas will be well ventilated and windows open when weather permits and especially between session
Chairs will be covered with couch roll and thereafter securely disposed

The room will be cleared from any unnecessary items. However, I request that you refrain from touching anything in the room on arrival, during and on departure other than the necessary equipment (curtains, work surfaces, books, magazines etc.)
Client files will be kept safe and filed away safely (GDPR compliant)
Additional treatment protocol
I will wear a mask during your treatment time and request you do the same.
My usual practice of washing my hands up to elbows before and after your treatment will continue. Latex gloves will be worn
I will take my temperature before each treatment
There is a rug will in the room but disposable floor mat will be provided and hard floors sanitised between each client
Disposable couch roll will be used and treatment couch sanitise for each treatment. Dirty linens will be stored in a closed lid basket and washed at the recommended temperature
Protective water-proof pillows will be used during your treatment with paper covering
Any non-disposable items used will be sanitised.
In order to minimise the time in the treatment room, please fill and send back the pre-treatment health check and an additional Covid-19 consent forms anytime before the day of your treatment to confirm that you are happy to go ahead with treatment
Vulnerable Clients
If you are vulnerable and/or fall into the “high risk” category or are shielding, you may still be at high risk of infection, I recommend that you opt for the online consultation option. Covid-19 Appointment Screening
Your appointment will be deferred or converted to an online session if:
You have been tested positive with Covid-19 in the last 14 days
You or any member of your family experience any Covid-19 symptoms such as a persistent cough, high temperature, sore throat, loss or change to your taste or smell.
You have been in contact with anyone with Covid-19 symptoms in the last 14 days
You are shielding, self-isolating or in quarantine.
If you have symptoms

If I have symptoms
I shall contact you immediately, should I have or if I have been in contact with anyone with Covid-19 symptoms in the last 14 days or have tested positive.
Payments
I request payments to be made in advance of the appointment by an online bank online transfer. These details will be given in your appointment confirmation. If you prefer to pay by cash, please bring the exact amount, preferably in an envelope.
